Content Library
How the Content Library works
Elixon is a creative intelligence tool built on organic engagement, with competitor ad monitoring alongside.
This page states what the library contains, how often it refreshes and how far back it goes, so there is one place to check any claim made about Elixon's data. Last reviewed 16 October 2026.
What the Content Library is
The Content Library is a daily record of millions of organic posts and millions of ads from brand accounts, each one scored for how far it outperformed what a comparable account in the same industry would expect. It is the evidence layer under every Elixon feature: the weekly industry articles, the brand pages, the AI strategy assistant and the creative briefs are all written from items in this library and nothing else.
Alongside it, Competitor Intel pulls the active ads of the competitors you name from the Meta Ad Library — Meta's public archive of live ads on Facebook and Instagram — and stores the creative and copy so you can see what a rival is running next to what their audience is actually engaging with.
Elixon's marketing arbitrage detection cross-references the two: organic concepts proven to earn engagement in a vertical are set against the paid ads competitors are scaling — weighted by how many consecutive days an ad has run, how many regions it is deployed in, what its landing page and call to action do, and how many rival brands run the same pattern — to surface what is commercially viable, not merely viral.
Coverage
Content is classified across 70+ industry categories. Coverage is deepest where brands advertise hardest — Automotive, Beauty, Dental, Ecommerce, Education, Fashion, Fintech, Fitness, Food & beverage, Home & furniture, Luxury, Pets, Real estate, Software, Supplements, Travel among them — and every category carries its own engagement benchmark from day one, so a newly added account is scored correctly on its first post.
Refresh cadence
The library refreshes once a day, every day, starting at 04:00 UTC (08:00 Dubai). Tracked accounts are worked through in daily batches, so every account is collected at least once a week and the library grows every day.
- 04:00Collection starts across the day's batch of tracked accounts.
- 04:30New posts are stored with likes, comments, views, format and caption; media is saved so a post can still be studied if it is later deleted.
- 04:45Every new item receives an Elixon Opportunity Score against its industry benchmark, and arbitrage detection re-runs against the competitor ads on file.
- 05:00The weekly industry articles and brand pages are regenerated from the scored data.
Competitor ads are pulled from the Meta Ad Library when you add or refresh a competitor in Competitor Intel, and the Meta Ad Library itself is live — what you search there is what is running now.
History
Daily collection has run since 2025. When an account is added, Elixon backfills its earlier posts, which is why the library contains posts dating back to 2013. Older posts are scored against the same benchmarks as new ones, so a brand page shows the account's best work, not only its most recent.
Elixon was founded in 2025 by Brand Media Works FZE, an AI consulting and marketing data engineering firm in Dubai. The scoring method is published in full on the methodology page.
What the library does not contain
- No private data. Only public posts, public engagement counts and public ads.
- No ad spend, reach, impressions or conversion figures — those are private to the advertiser and Elixon never estimates them.
- No organic post is ever labelled an ad. Posts and ads are stored separately and scored separately.
- No synthetic statistics. Every number in an article or brand page traces to a stored item with a captured engagement count.
Reading an Elixon Opportunity Score
Every scored item carries a number from 0 to 100 and a tier. The score is relative: it says how far the post outperformed the expectation for an account of that size in that industry, not how many likes it got.
Frequently asked questions
How big is the Elixon Content Library?
The Content Library holds millions of organic posts and millions of ads, classified across 70+ industry categories, and grows every day. Competitor Intel also searches the Meta Ad Library directly, so a tracked competitor's live ads are always current.
How often is the Content Library updated?
Every day. The pipeline runs at 04:00 UTC: new posts and ads are collected, engagement is captured, each item is scored against its industry benchmark, and the weekly industry articles are regenerated from the fresh data.
Which platforms does Elixon cover?
Organic posts on Instagram and ads from the Meta Ad Library (Facebook and Instagram). TikTok is coming soon.
Is engagement the same as ad performance?
No, and Elixon never claims it is. Engagement — likes, comments, views relative to follower count — shows what an audience responded to. It does not show spend, reach, click-through or conversion, which are private to the advertiser. Elixon uses engagement to tell you which creative patterns earn attention in your industry before you spend; your ad account tells you what happened after.
How many industries does Elixon classify content across?
Content is classified across 70+ industry categories, each with its own engagement benchmark, so a post is always measured against accounts like its own rather than against the whole library.
Where do the competitor ads come from?
From the Meta Ad Library, Meta's public archive of ads running on Facebook and Instagram. When you add a competitor in Competitor Intel, Elixon pulls their active ads from the library and stores the creative, copy and run dates so you can study them next to the competitor's organic posts.
